cmwforms Security Features
cmwforms includes a number of important security features that are designed to
secure your data. These include:
1. User authentication
using user names and passwords. Only registered users can connect to and view
information stored in cmwforms.
2. Role based
privileges. The privileges that users have will be determined by the role
that they have been granted. The current version includes the following roles:
a. Administrator.
Has full access to all workspaces
b. Workspace
Administrator. Has full access to specified workspaces.
c. User.
Able to create and modify records.
d. Submitter.
Able to submit records.
e. Guest.
Able to read records.
3. Workspace
access control. Users will only be able to view data in the workspaces to
which they have been granted access. A user can have different roles in different
workspaces.
All data in CMW is encrypted using Triple Des algorithm and is totally unreadable unless the data is viewed
using CMW. Where necessary you can use CMW to generate private encryption
keys and use these keys to encrypt selected information. Information encrypted
using a private key can only be viewed by users who have access to the private key
